Contributing To Our Community (Staff Program)
Our team is very excited to have been given the opportunity to establish a number of ways to contribute to the community, and to share our successes.
Staff “Silver Bullet” Program: Each staff member is allotted monies each year to donate to the charity of their choice. Along with these donations, the team members are encouraged to participate in charitable events and/or fundraisers on behalf of Megaloid. Each member of the team is given two extra paid “free days” per year in order to participate in such events.

Contributing To Our Community (Corporate Program)
Megaloid makes a number of financial donations to charitable organizations each year. Our mission is to improve the lives of children in both our local and global communities through the provision of basic living needs such as food and shelter, health care, education, and opportunities for growth. We have selected a number of charities to support over the years, and would be more than willing to consider other opportunities.
We encourage you to look through the links / descriptions we’ve provided of the organizations we already support, and if you would like to discuss this with us or if you have any questions about our programs, please contact Debbie McCue at debbie@megaloid.ca or Chris McCue at chris@megaloid.ca

World Vision – Polar Bear Dip
Hundreds of people jump into the icy cold waters of Lake Ontario at the Courage Brothers’ Polar Bear Dip each year while thousands watch and cheer them on. Funds raised at Courage Brothers’ Polar Bear Dip events will help provide a dependable source of clean water for the people of Kahi in the Umutara region of Rwanda. By drilling new wells and building reservoirs, the Kahi Water Project will bring safe water close to the people who live in the community. The new water system will reduce the suffering caused by drinking dirty water and save children hours of wasted time, which can now be spent at school.

Our goal is to expand our services over time to reach hundreds of thousands more women who are economically marginalized, giving them the opportunity to be engaged members of their societies with dignity and pride
